Halal Persian food in Interlaken: a guide for Muslim travellers

Looking for halal food in Interlaken? At BANOO, we welcome you for a Persian meal at Centralstrasse 28. We are a Muslim-owned restaurant, a walk from Interlaken West station and Höheweg. Here are the details to help you plan lunch or dinner with us.
Halal dining at BANOO
All our meat is halal. We use no alcohol in cooking. If you are choosing a halal restaurant in Interlaken, you can find these details together on our halal information page.
BANOO has an alcohol-free section. Alcoholic drinks are served outside that section, so the restaurant as a whole is not alcohol-free. Please ask us about the alcohol-free section when planning your visit.
Prayer space and a welcome for your family
Prayer space is available on request. Let us know if you would like to use it. Families, groups and walk-in guests are welcome, and dogs are welcome too.
Coming with others? Our group dining page is a place to start planning your meal together. You can also contact us with questions about the alcohol-free section or prayer space before you arrive.
Explore Persian food before you visit
BANOO is the only Persian restaurant in Canton Bern. Browse our English menu to plan your meal; vegetarian dishes are available too.
